Welcome to Caffeinated Bob, Inc. Your job is simple: keep Bob caffeinated throughout the workday. Too little and he falls asleep. Too much and…well, Corporate recommends moderation. Check in when you can, grab Bob a coffee when you grab yours, and explore the cubicle and Bob's computer as time permits. The basics:
1. OFFICE HOURS
Caffeinated Bob operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with lunch from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. When Bob isn't working, the game is closed. Corporate believes strongly in work-life balance when operationally convenient.
2. WORKPLACE EXPECTATIONS
Caffeinated Bob was designed for employees who spend their days at a desktop computer. Bob does not require your constant attention. Check in when you can, keep him caffeinated, then get back to whatever your employer thinks you're doing. Mobile access may be available, but Corporate does not guarantee a satisfactory workplace experience.
3. COMPLIANCE VOUCHERS
Productive employees may be awarded Compliance Vouchers (cv), which can be exchanged at the Corporate Store for clothing, decorations, office equipment, and other approved morale-enhancing items. Compliance Vouchers are in-game currency and have no real-world monetary value. This has not reduced employee enthusiasm for receiving them.
4. PERFORMANCE & RECOGNITION
HR monitors Bob's energy and productivity levels and distributes Compliance Vouchers accordingly. Additional CV may be earned by replying to important emails, filing TPS reports, and participating in approved Corporate initiatives. Participation is optional. Participation may be noted.
5. YOUR WORKSTATION
Bob's computer contains everything he needs to perform his assigned duties. Email should be checked periodically, and additional applications, utilities, and workplace resources may become available over time. Employees are encouraged to explore responsibly. IT is aware.
6. CORPORATE INITIATIVES
From time to time, Corporate may introduce Casual Fridays, employee programs, policy changes, morale initiatives, and other opportunities for participation. Employees should monitor their email for further instructions. Failure to participate in optional morale initiatives will not affect your standing with the company. Probably.
7. BUGS
This year's pest-control budget was strategically reallocated to recognize our CEO's leadership during a time of sustained growth. As a result, employees may occasionally encounter bugs in the workplace, helping strengthen employee adaptability and workplace resilience. Please use the employee survey to report any bugs that create a toxic work environment, destroy employee records, or prevent Bob from earning Compliance Vouchers.
